Evil Eye Ring — Wide Silver Band with Hamsa

A ring that was an amulet first.

The band is wide and blackened in the recesses, so the pattern reads from across a room. Blue crystal eyes run the whole way around it, with the hamsa hand worked in between. Both are old protective symbols, carried on doorways and wrists all around the Mediterranean long before anyone thought to make them into jewelry. It sits heavy on the finger, which is most of the pleasure of a wide band.

• Blue cubic zirconia set into the eyes. Crystal, not gemstone
• Evil eye and hamsa motifs carved all the way around the band
• Band about 0.4 in wide

Waterproof, so showers and swimming are fine. Wipe with a soft dry cloth now and then; the darkened recesses are part of the design.
